Leaving my Twenties just lets me reflect on all that I accomplished in the last decade.
- I earned my Associates degree from Ricks College.
- I FINALLY decided what I wanted to be when I grow up.
- I got my gallbladder out after over 2 years of trying to figure out what was wrong.
- I earned my Bachelors degree from BYU-I.
- I started teaching at GFHS, a school where I graduated from, but later discovered who I really am as I taught others. I taught there for 6 years!
- I backpacked through Europe.
- I visited lots of countries (England, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, China, and Japan)
- I earned my Masters degree.
- I married a great man who I love more each day.
- I survived Mike's first deployment.
- I moved to a different country.
- I became a mother.
I made many friends and had more experiences than I can count. Those experiences have helped make me the person I am today. I wouldn't change things from the last decade even if I could.
As I look forward to my Thirties I can only hope that they are as great as my twenties, and that I can feel like I accomplished as much or more in the next ten years.
Mother Nature wanted to celebrate my birthday with a bang...so we got a Super Typhoon...people are still cleaning up the mess. At least it's something everyone will remember!
