Out with the 20's and into the 30's

So my birthday was yesterday...the BIG 3-0!

Leaving my Twenties just lets me reflect on all that I accomplished in the last decade.

  • I earned my Associates degree from Ricks College.

  • I FINALLY decided what I wanted to be when I grow up.

  • I got my gallbladder out after over 2 years of trying to figure out what was wrong.

  • I earned my Bachelors degree from BYU-I.

  • I started teaching at GFHS, a school where I graduated from, but later discovered who I really am as I taught others. I taught there for 6 years!

  • I backpacked through Europe.

  • I visited lots of countries (England, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, China, and Japan)

  • I earned my Masters degree.

  • I married a great man who I love more each day.

  • I survived Mike's first deployment.

  • I moved to a different country.

  • I became a mother.

I made many friends and had more experiences than I can count. Those experiences have helped make me the person I am today. I wouldn't change things from the last decade even if I could.

As I look forward to my Thirties I can only hope that they are as great as my twenties, and that I can feel like I accomplished as much or more in the next ten years.

Mother Nature wanted to celebrate my birthday with a bang...so we got a Super Typhoon...people are still cleaning up the mess. At least it's something everyone will remember!

A Photo Dump

Just some pictures to enjoy.

This is what Paige looks like with a baby sitter...so sad, huh? She likes to read books while we wait in the car.

She likes to take bubble baths...and eat the bubbles. She also "helps" fold the laundry.
Sometimes she likes to attack Daddy when he falls asleep on the floor.

She thinks the escalator at the exchange is pretty cool.

She watched the Royal Wedding...

...did you?

She tried to eat a chocolate chip cookie, but didn't really like it.

And lastly, she had fallen in love with her sippy cup.
