Paige and I were so lucky to get to spend a week with Mike's Family in California! Paige was excited to meet Grandma and Grandpa,
Uncle Matt, and Uncle Mark and Aunt Tiffany

And cousins Austin, McKenna, Chelsea, and Spencer.

Everyone was more than happy to play with and entertain Paige. She loved all the attention she got! She sure was spoiled with lots of hugs and kisses!

We also got to do some fun things that we don't get to do as much in Okinawa...like we hit up Target!
And we found some of daddy's favorite places...yum!
We even hit the beach! "Hi Daddy...way on the other side of the ocean! We miss you!"

All too soon it was time to say goodbye! We were very sad to leave our family on the west coast. Paige was a trooper! She adjusted to the time change with ease, and we had a great time in the warm California sun. We are blessed to be part of this family and know how much they love us! We hope to visit again soon!

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

So some of you may have heard about my adventures on Space-A through facebook, but here is the full story.

We got our paper work for travel and headed to the airport for a flight. We got our bags checked, and through security. Our passports were stamped and we were on the bus to go to the plane...only to be told that the plane was broken and we couldn't go that day. Mike came and picked us up.

Our family picture at 2:30am...when we thought we were leaving.

We went back at 1am on another night and went through the same deal...only to be told that that plane was broken also. (It amazes me that the air force has any planes in the air at this rate!) Mike came back and picked us up and then went to work.

We finally decided to try for the Patriot on Saturday morning. That is a comercial flight once a week...it never gets cancelled. We got on our first try and we were off!

Our plane that would actually take off!

Happy Girl!

Playing during a layover in Yakota.

she needed to stretch out for a bit.

My great flyer!

All in all it was a good trip! We flew into Seattle and then on to California for a week with Mike's family. Paige is being loved and then loved some more. She is blessed to have such a great family!

I'm 3 Months Old TODAY!!!

WOW, I'm three months old already! Here are some things I remember and some things I like to do now.
See how small I was...I love to cuddle up on my Daddy and sleep.
I also love to smile.
I learned to like my swing. I like to take naps there. My newest trick is trying to wiggle out of my swing because I don't want to take a nap. Mommy says she should strap me in...I don't know what that means.
When I'm really sleepy I like to suck on thumbs...Daddy's is my favorite, but mine is good too.
I like to wear pretty dresses to church.

I also like to watch T.V. with my Daddy.

For a special treat Mommy lets me suck on apple slices. They are supper yummy!

Mommy and Daddy talk all the time about how big I'm getting. I even got all new clothes because my other ones don't fit any more. It's been a busy three months, I'll have to find some new adventures for the next few.

LOVE,

Paige

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning started out great! We had a happy girl, and Santa had filled most of our stockings to the brim! Paige joined us in our bed so that we could empty out our stockings and see what treasures we got. We found lots of candy, a paddle ball set, pens, razors and Paige's favorite...RINGS! She has been chewing on them since!
After the stockings we headed out to look at our tree and see what Santa had left there. While we got organized we had our traditional breakfast of sausage puffs. YUM! Somebody got WAY more presents than anyone else...but it's OK, we won't name names. (that is really just her stuff, and we didn't buy most of it)
Santa brought Paige a Glow Worm which was one of her mommy's favorites as a child. She fell asleep half way through...I was surprised she lasted that long!
This is what things looked like at the end...isn't it great!
We had a great time with our little family. Hope everyone else had a great day as well!

Santa Baby!

Paige is all ready for her very first Christmas! She posed for our Christmas letter, met up with Santa, and got to wear the super cute dress her Grandma Barton sent her. She even got to taste a candy cane (not really...it was wrapped...but she chewed on it anyway.)
Merry Christmas!

Two Months Old!

Dang, my kid is cute! Just look at her...she's squishy in all the right places and how can you resist that smile? I know I can't, and neither can her daddy!

Paige is two months old (I know, this post is late). At her two month check-up she weighed in at 12 lbs. 3 oz. and 22 inches. The Doctor said she must eat cream.
She got shots at her two month check-up and cut her first tooth the next day. She is the proud owner of a bottom left tooth, and the right is not far behind. She was only fussy for about a day, but she has slobber bubbles that seem never ending.
I LOVE this picture! This is Paige all wrapped up in one of her favorite blankies. Her Aunt Pam sent it to her and she sleeps with it (or the blanket's twin) every night. She loves to have "nakie time" but sometimes its just too cold in our apartment, so the blanket comes in handy.

Paige also loves bath time, and Mike likes to make bubble sculptures on her, so they play well together.
Here's my two cuties together after church one day. I can't believe how much she looks like Mike's family. I think you can really see it in this picture.
All in all, it's been a great two months...now if only I can get her to sleep longer at night...

Catching Up

It's been a busy few weeks! First off, Paige had a play date with her buddy Harvey. This is them chatting before he had to go home to bed.
Thanksgiving came and Paige got to watch her very first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. (she might have been a bit sleepy through some of it) She watched the Rockettes and kicked right along with them. We practice her routine every day so that she can master those high kicks.
We had some of the Marines from Mike's work come for dinner. I put them to work for a while, but mostly they vegged.
We had a great spread, and LOTS of left-overs.
On a totally different note, Paige sure loves her daddy...she even dresses like him. Can you see her?
