Two Ultrasounds Later...

I don't know if there is anything like seeing your baby move around for the first time. Our baby is shy, as in this little one doesn't like having it's picture taken. At one point the baby put out it's hand as if to say "STOP TAKING MY PICTURE!" We also have no good picture of the face because our baby likes to keep it's arms right up against their cheeks.

This little one is VERY active and moved the entire time we were in the office. There were a few times that the tech seemed a bit frustrated because she had to chase the baby around my belly.

Our first ultrasound of the week was on Tuesday. Mike and I had a really good time seeing the munchkin and the hands and feet and seeing it resist pictures being taken. All that being said, on Wednesday I got a phone call from my doctors office that said I needed to call back ASAP. When I finally talked to the nurse she said that my amniotic fluid looked low and I they made me an appointment with a doctor at Ft. Belvoir on Thursday to re-check it.

I was a bit panicked, but did my best to stay calm. I went in today and they said all looks great! I have to go back next week to check again, but things looked great today.

All in all things look good, and on the up side--I get to see my baby more!
