AGAIN???

What is it about my house that these little guys find so welcoming? If you missed the facebook post here is the story. Several days ago I was leaving my house to meet a friend. I opened my front door and a lizard ran into my house. I didn't have time to do anything about it. I left. When I got home I couldn't find it anywhere. I called Mike. He laughed at me. We never did find the lizard.
Today I came home from the commissary to find a new lizard to welcome me home...REALLY?!?! I don't understand why they like my house so much! This one left on it's own as well, but it's not my favorite thing to come home to! In all reality these are gecko lizards and are totally harmless, but the thought of it crawling around my house creeps me out.

I think they come in through the air conditioner...I'm gonna have to figure out how to keep them out.

  1. Get used to it. Its something you'll have to deal with the whole time you're there.

  2. On the bright side, if there are any bugs in your house they will eat them! Oh the joys of living in a tropical environment!

  3. My grandma used to tel this story of when she was a child living in Indonesia: she and her sister shared a bedroom and one night, in the dark a gecko jumped of the ceiling right onto her bed. Scared the hillbillies out of her. Hope that won't happen to you ;-)

  4. I'm very jealous. I loved seeing lizards in the house in florida.
