OK, so there is this teacher that I work with that seems to be a leech. This teacher just takes and takes, and never returns the favor. I don’t mind sharing things I do in class, or things I have created…but I also don’t want to be taken advantage of.
The last straw was earlier this month. This teacher uses my room for one class, and I noticed that one of the worksheets they had copied was one that I had created. Although I had made this worksheet, I never finished it, so I never handed it out to any of the others that I teach with.
Strange that he had it, right?
I knew that the only way it could have changed hands was for this teacher to take the file off of my flashdrive. So I asked said teacher…crazy how the story of how this work was acquired continued to change with each conversation. I finally tired of the whole situation. I fixed everything today by telling this teacher that they cannot use any of my materials again. I was happy…he was not.
