So Mike has been back for a week, and the amount of information I have now is no more than what I had when he left for training. We still don’t know where he is going, and we don’t have a date yet either. “Stand By,” is still the motto of the day.
I have decided that this is a blessing in disguise. If I don’t know where he is going, I can’t get worked up about things that happen when I hear them on the news. I figure that I’ll just stay in the bliss of ignorance for now and that way I can have a good time with Mike before he leaves.
This weekend has been nice…three days and a list of things to do for Mike to work on. I have my list too, don’t worry. It was just nice to be around each other for an extra day this weekend! Happy Memorial Day!
